A wonderful poem

What though the radiance which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass, of glory in the flower;
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind...

I like it. I really like it.

Thirty minutes ago, I was reading something. The sentence "though nothing can bring back the hour" flipped into my eyes. And I read the whole poem.

I didn't know it was from a famous film "Splendor in the Grass(天涯何處無芳草)" til that moment. It is so beautiful. Actually, I was amazed so much that a poem could be powerful by using simple vocabulary.

I never thought I would praise a poem.

After taking a quick glance of the plot, I decided to cancel the consideration for finding out this film. Too much pity would be left there. Although the film told us to look forward to the future, it also revealed sorrow for the past. Otherwise, why people called it "天涯何處無芳草" for Chinese title?

Can't help reading it out. Suddenly, I felt I was inspired. Go forth, fo gorth, this is the only one thing to live in the reality.

Smile.

And call it a day.
